The Riccobono Group has just been awarded the Positive Company® CSR label, following a rigorous evaluation phase lasting almost six months. This recognition testifies to the company's commitment to a sustainable and responsible strategy, incorporating concrete actions in the areas of innovation, eco-design and energy savings.




 

A commitment rewarded by CSR practices

The labelling phase highlighted a number of the strengths of the Group's CSR approach, in particular :

 

·        Eco-design and energy saving: The company has put in place strong initiatives to reduce its environmental footprint, notably through better energy management and the adoption of innovative eco-design practices.

 

·        CSR strategy management: The Group has distinguished itself by its strong CSR governance, which actively supports projects with a high social impact.

 

·        Innovation with the Riccobono Lab: The company's R&D innovation laboratory, dedicated to the search for sustainable solutions, was praised for its role as a driving force in the development of new technologies for sustainable development.

 

A lasting commitment and a vision of the future towards ESDC*.

Obtaining this label marks a major step forward in the Riccobono Group's sustainable development strategy. The company is determined to continue along this path and to strengthen its social, environmental and democratic commitment, mobilising its teams and partners to make an ever more positive impact.

The Riccobono Group, which has been printing for five generations, is France's leading printer of dailies, its traditional business. The press division accounts for 35% of its business. The Group is also a major player in rotogravure and offset heatset printing, which also accounts for 35% of its business. The notion of "democratic responsibility" is one of the recommendations put forward by the EGI steering committee, which would be added to the societal and environmental responsibility of economic players, in favour of their contribution to safeguarding the democratic public arena. It would encourage economic players to invest in the information media.
