Press Release
Paris, 15 October 2023.
La Tribune Dimanche has now decided to entrust all its printing to the Riccobono Group at the Imprimerie centre in Tremblay-en-France (93) and Midi Print in Gallargues-le-Montueux (30).
This choice is explained by the very high standards and quality required, as well as the technical constraints/industrially complex nature of the title due to its format and high grammage paper. This product also requires management of delivery times, as distribution is targeted at a single day of single-issue sales, only at weekends.
It may seem like an easy task, but a whole organisational and logistical system has to be put in place to meet this challenge.
The Riccobono Group provides high quality printing thanks to sophisticated industrial production tools that are the most efficient and complementary on the market, reliable in their production performance and ultra-reactive adaptability, as well as the human skills of expert and qualified teams for the meticulous production of this title.
Midi Print has some of the highest-performance tools available on the market for coldset offset printing without a dryer, and its recent investment includes automatic density. The centre has the right machinery and teams experienced in this type of very hot, high-stakes national press product.
Printing at the Midi Print centre also enables La Tribune Dimanche to guarantee its tight delivery times, as the site is located in the heart of southern France (unlike Marseille).
The Imprimerie de Tremblay offers its expertise at the Offset Waterless centre, a process with incomparable graphic, economic and ecological properties.
Both centres are also equipped with state-of-the-art routing technology.
The Imprimerie de Tremblay-en-France centre (93) prints 80,000 copies for the North of France, while the Midi Print centre in Gallargues-le-Montueux (30) prints titles for the South of France. The southern print run represents 50,000 copies, bringing the total to 130,000 copies per week.
The Riccobono Group, a printer for five generations, is the French leader in newspaper printing, its traditional business, which accounts for 35% of its business. The Group is also a major player in rotogravure, printing magazines, catalogues and leaflets, which also accounts for 35% of its business. The Group's other core competencies are distribution and mailing (20%), and routing, binding and finishing (10%).
Today, the Riccobono Group employs more than 2,700 people and has a turnover of almost €250 million.
